Great Getaways Newspaper InsertThe Great Getaways Newspaper Insert is a cooperative program between the Department of Tourism and partners from across South Dakota. The newspaper insert is a multi-page, full color, magazine style marketing piece that focuses on travel opportunities throughout the state. Partners receive a color photo and 40 words of copy (including phone number, email, and web address). South Dakota is full of terrific vacation opportunities for visitors from nearby markets, and this co-op is a great chance to get your business in front of thousands of potential visitors.
Peak SeasonThe Department of Tourism is now accepting registrations for the 2012 Peak Season Great Getaways program. This marketing piece will be inserted into newspapers in Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin for a circulation of 750,518 and dropping the week of April 29, 2012. The Peak Season Great Getaways is open to 65 partners on a first-come, first-served basis. Partnership in this program costs $550. To become a partner, please submit your payment and completed registration form, along with your copy and photo to Natasha Bothun, 711 E Wells Ave, Pierre, SD 57501 or email to natasha.bothun@travelsd.com. You may pay online with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or with a check by mail.
