2010 Brochure Program

RE: Criteria for publications displayed at the Interstate Information Centers

Enclosed you will find an Information Center Publication Approval Registration flyer. If you do not have your publication approved for display at the Interstate Information Centers for the 2010 season, please fill out this form and send it back along with the publication you wish to be placed in our racks. As in the past few years, we are accepting new publications for approval November 1 – May 31, 2010. Once we receive you publication, we will then evaluate it and send you your approval letter if it fits our criteria.

Before you begin a new publication design or if you are unsure if your publication will meet our criteria, we ask that you check our guidelines at www.sdvisit.com/programs/coop/infocenter/index.asp.

Below are a few reminders from our brochure guidelines
  • Every time you send the centers your brochures, you will need to include a copy of your approval letter along with your brochures. If the center staff is unsure about your approval, they will not place your publication in the racks.
  • If you have someone else distribute your brochures, it is your responsibility to make sure they have a copy of your approval letter so they know it is ok to ship to the centers.
  • Publications are accepted for approval November through May. Publications must be approved before June 1 or they will not be allowed to participate in the publications program for the 2010 season. The Information Center Manager will be available at both literature swaps for approval if you do not have approval prior.
  • Since space is limited at all our centers we ask for only one publication per property.
