Congress approves new round of COVID-19 relief funds

April 24, 2020

Dear Tourism Partners,

Congress just passed a fourth wave of relief legislation to infuse new funds into the PPP (Payroll Protection Program) and the EIDL Program (Economic Injury and Disaster Loan Program). The bill has been signed into law by the president. Please reach out to your local lending institution or the South Dakota District Office of the SBA (Small Business Administration) as soon as possible for more details or to make application. These aid and relief programs are targeted to small and medium-sized businesses with payroll, rent, and other expenses.
