TRAVEL SOUTH DAKOTA TO HOST ANNUAL SPRING CUSTOMER SERVICE SEMINARS

5/7/2025

PIERRE, S.D. – Travel South Dakota, in partnership with the South Dakota Retailers Association, will host its annual Spring Customer Service Seminars (formerly Spring Hospitality Training) from May 12-15 in seven communities across South Dakota.

This year, Travel South Dakota is bringing stress physiologist Dr. Rebecca Heiss to lead the customer service sessions. Creator of the “T-minus 3 Technique,” Dr. Heiss is a professional speaker dedicated to helping people overcome their instinctual limitations. With humor and energy, Dr. Heiss is excited and ready to show attendees how to manage stress while transforming their fears into fuel for success.

The Spring Customer Service Seminars are designed to provide tools, customer service tactics, and encouragement for South Dakotans involved in tourism and other service-oriented industries to better serve our visitors and customers. These seminars are great experiences for those who are interested in the tourism industry and want to learn more about career opportunities.

Individuals who work in a business that provides a service to South Dakota visitors or residents are also encouraged to attend the free trainings. Registration is not required.
