<p>The 2022 South Dakota Local Foods Conference is scheduled for November&nbsp;17-19 at the Sturgis Community Center. The conference will feature a variety of topics on specialty crop production, market gardening, pasture based systems, regenerative ag, food sovereignty, cooking with local foods, and agritourism. It also includes farm tours, local food meals, and vendors. (Immediately preceding the conference is an <a href="https://sdvisit.com/events/agritourism-workshop-0">Agritourism Workshop</a> on November 17. Requires separate registration.)</p>

<p>In partnership with SDSU Extension, we are hosting a one-day agritourism workshop focused on enhancing the visitor experience on farms and ranches across South Dakota. We are excited to have some key operators in the South Dakota tourism industry share their expertise on hospitality, staff training, community partnerships and more. (Immediately following the workshop, the <a href="https://sdvisit.com/events/south-dakota-local-foods-conference">South Dakota Local Foods Conference</a> begins if attendees wish to participate in both events. Requires separate registration.)</p>

<p>The in-person workshop is being held <strong>9 a.m.-5 p.m.</strong> at the <strong>Sturgis Community Center</strong>. Lunch is included in the <strong>$35</strong> registration fee.</p>
