<p>On Monday, May 3, the Department of Tourism will be conducting two press conferences to kick off <a href="https://sdvisit.com/training-hospitality/national-travel-tourism-week-2… Travel & Tourism Week 2021</a> (May 2-8) in South Dakota.</p>
<p>The first press conference will be at <strong>Mount Rushmore National Memorial</strong> at <strong>9:30 a.m.</strong> (Mountain Time).</p>
<p>The second press conference will be at <strong>Falls Park</strong> (Falls Overlook Cafe) at <strong>3 p.m. </strong>(Central Time).</p>

<p>For this year’s annual spring update to the industry, the Department of Tourism will present a prerecorded webinar. Staff will cover the latest public relations outreach, social media campaigns, travel-trade work, National Travel & Tourism Week plans, Spring Hospitality Training and peak 2021 marketing efforts. The 90-minute webinar will be shown twice — <strong>Tuesday, April 20 </strong>(10 a.m. Central/9 a.m. Mountain), and <strong>Wednesday, April 21 </strong>(10 a.m. Central/9 a.m. Mountain) — and the second part of each session will be five different <strong>live</strong> Zoom chat rooms allowing industry members to talk with different Tourism teams. Participants will be able to select which chat they wish to join.</p>
