NOMINATION FORMS

As part of our agritourism efforts, we are having an Agritourism Workshop at the SDSU Extension classroom in Pierre on February 20-21, 2020. This workshop will be a guide for operators who are beginning to take their first steps in starting an agritourism business. The first day of the workshop will cover: taxes and licensing, hospitality, advocating for Ag, liability, financing, business structure, and marketing. The second day will be a bus tour of surrounding farms to showcase current examples of agritourism operations.

The cost of the workshop is $25 per person. Registration will begin at 9:45 a.m. and the workshop will begin at 10 a.m. Space is limited so be sure to register today!
